Terms of Service & Marketplace Agreement

1. Introduction & Acceptance of Terms

This Terms of Service Agreement ("Agreement") constitutes a legally binding agreement between you ("Customer", "User", or "Merchant") and styleWithComfy Marketplace Ltd. ("styleWithComfy", "we", "us", or "our"). By visiting our web application, browsing our catalog of artisan leather handbags, registering an account, purchasing items, or listing products as a merchant, you explicitly agree to comply with and be bound by all terms, policies, and operating guidelines contained herein.

If you do not agree to these terms in their entirety, you must immediately cease accessing our website and services. We reserve the right to modify, amend, or update these terms at any time. Material updates will be communicated through our website header banners or via direct email to registered users.

2. Platform Marketplace & Escrow Services

styleWithComfy operates an curated e-commerce marketplace dedicated exclusively to high-grade leather craft, artisan handbags, totes, clutches, and luxury travel gear. Our platform acts as a secure intermediary connecting discerning customers with certified master leather artisans and verified boutiques.

• Payment Escrow Protection: When you purchase an item on styleWithComfy, your payment is safely deposited into our bank-grade escrow account. Funds are withheld from merchants until the item is delivered to your designated address or pickup point and verified for quality.
• Stock & Variant Authenticity: Merchants must accurately declare item stock, materials (e.g., 100% Full-Grain Bovine Leather, Top-Grain Vegetable Tanned Leather), and exact color variants. Deliberate misrepresentation of material composition results in immediate vendor suspension.

3. Account Registration & User Security

To complete purchases, save items to your wishlist, or manage orders, you may create a styleWithComfy customer account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.

You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials (including passwords and OTP authentication tokens). Any activity conducted under your account is your responsibility. You must notify us immediately at support@stylewithcomfy.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Pricing, Currency & Payment Terms

All prices listed on styleWithComfy are displayed in Nigerian Naira (₦ / NGN) unless otherwise selected. Prices include applicable platform taxes. Shipping fees are calculated dynamically based on your chosen fulfillment method:

• In-Store Pickup: ₦0 (Free) across all official admin pickup locations.
• Home / Doorstep Delivery: Free on orders over ₦50,000; standard ₦2,500 flat fee for orders below ₦50,000 within domestic delivery zones.

We process online payments via PCI-DSS Compliant gateways (Paystack and Flutterwave). We do not store raw credit card numbers or banking passwords on our servers.

5. Color Variants & Custom Orders

Many of our artisan products feature multiple hand-dyed color options (e.g., Tan, Midnight Black, Mahogany, Emerald Green). Because leather is a natural material:

• Slight variations in grain texture, natural hides marks, and dye absorption are inherent characteristics of genuine leather craft and are not deemed defects.
• Colors displayed on digital screens may vary slightly depending on monitor color calibration settings.

6. Shipping, In-Store Pickup & Delivery

Orders are processed within 24 to 48 business hours following payment confirmation. You will receive real-time tracking numbers and SMS notifications upon shipment dispatch.

If you select Pick Up In Store, you must present a valid order confirmation receipt and photo identification at the selected pickup location. Items must be picked up within 14 calendar days.

7. Returns, Exchanges & Refunds

We offer a 30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee. If you receive a handbag with manufacturing defects, damaged hardware, or incorrect color shipment, you may initiate a return or exchange through your customer portal or by contacting support@stylewithcomfy.com.

Returned items must be unused, unwashed, and in their original packaging with all artisan tags intact. Custom embossed or monogrammed products are non-refundable unless damaged upon arrival.

8. Intellectual Property & Brand Safeguards

All visual interfaces, custom product photography, logos, branding elements, software code, and editorial content on styleWithComfy are the exclusive property of styleWithComfy Marketplace Ltd. or its licensors. Unauthorized scraping, reproduction, or commercial exploitation is strictly prohibited.

9. Merchant Guidelines & Verification (KYC)

All vendors listing products on styleWithComfy must complete identity verification (Government ID, business registration documents, and workshop address validation). Merchants agree not to list counterfeit goods, synthetic leather passed off as genuine leather, or items infringing third-party trademarks.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, styleWithComfy shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the website, delayed deliveries by third-party logistics partners, or merchant disputes beyond our control.

11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with this agreement shall first be submitted to informal dispute resolution via our Support Concierge. If unresolved after 30 days, disputes shall be referred to arbitration in Lagos State, Nigeria.
